Doing Better

I was able to get up at a decent time this morning, amazingly enough. I think I will be able to get myself back onto a normal schedule soon. I’m getting some good work done today, too. All good things. I’m biding my time, doing my best imitation of a patient person and it seems to be paying off.

I am WAY behind on blogs right now, BTW. It’s been a toss-up: keep my blog up to date or keep up with all of the blogs I read. My blog won out. Sorry! I may eventually get caught up, or I may just give up. I haven’t figured out which yet. 😉 Just bear with me, please.

Always glad to bear with you, Jenna! And I’m glad you decided to keep your blog up, rather than commenting all over. 🙂

    Good for you, my friend!
As for blogs, don’t worry. We all have different lives, different schedules. I’m finding it very hard to keep up with blogs too right now, and like you, it’s a toss up between reading+commenting vs. keeping mine updated. Like you, I’m rather leaning towards keeping mine updated, and I’m considering creating a special folder in my feeds reader for “friends not to miss” 😉

I always put updating my blog first. I figure that i can catch up with others later. If everyone were more worried about other people’s blogs than their own, there wouldn’t be anything going on!

My top secret sneaky catcher-upper is bloglines. I have all of my blogs there (I need to update it), though some of the blogs I mean to read don’t have a subscriber feed (boo!). Then I have the feeds sorted into several folders there, so I know if it’s news, science, stitchers, friends, etc… And I have priority levels. I always read the one tagged “friends” (which is mostly stitchers I mean not to miss), but I get around to other stitchers eventually. It makes it so much easier than sorting through all of the blogs.

I am so glad to hear that you are getting on top of everything. I am always behind in reading blogs and updating my own, maybe I should go and take some photos and update mine, later.
