I Hate Blogger!

You know, they really need to get their stuff together with this beta version that they are pushing everyone to use. For the past two days, I’ve been unable to log in to leave comments on beta sites. It would appear that their link between Google and Blogger logins has broken.

I know that it’s a free service and a ton of people around the world make use of Blogger, but they have some of the worst service problems that I’ve ever seen. Between not being able to comment and people have problems posting photos all of the time, plus unexpected downtimes, it really is a mess.

I am SO GLAD that I am not on their system. I just wish that so many others weren’t. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, if you are using beta Blogger and you don’t allow anonymous comments, I can’t comment right now, but it doesn’t mean that I’m not reading!

What bugs me most is those da*ned feed updates caused by the change…

    As I’ve always said: LJ

  2. Outi says:

… your blog turned me down for the first time ever. ๐Ÿ™

I meant to say “As Iรขโ‚ฌโ„ขve always said: LJ [heart]”

  3. Vonna says:

I know that Blogger stinks! I’ve just changed to the beta version because they are pushing it so much….and it won’t let me return without logging in AGAIN!
I will say my pictures are loading faster and better tho… ;o)

  4. Jenn L says:

Another reason I’m happy I got away from their monopoly when I did… and yes, I’m also having issues leaving comments for some people. As for the blogroll updates, I’ve gotten used to logging in and having 58 new feeds ten minutes after clearing things out, but I’ll definitely be very happy when it goes back to normal.

  5. Nicki says:

I can’t even leave anonymous comments right now! How frustrating is it?

  6. Melanie says:

I’m with Outi. Those hundreds of old feeds coming through are driving me barmy! Hooray for WordPress!

It’s just nice to know that you are trying dear. ((hugs))

  8. AnneS says:

I agree with you wholeheartedly – I tried commenting as ‘anonymous’ but that doesn’t work either … mutter mutter mutter ๐Ÿ™ It’s giving me the irrits BIG time!

  9. Cathy says:

I can’t ever leave comments on people’s beta blogs, and for some reason, I’ve been having issues with visual verifications in comments lately too. So frustrating!

  10. Christine V says:

Yep, I’m having the same problems. It’s so frustrating!!!

  11. Barbara says:

I’ll jump on the bandwagon, too. Blogger’s giving me fits. I haven’t been able to leave comments on Beta Blogger all week, and I’m annoyed by the constant “push” by blogger to switch to beta. Grrr.

Time to ask DH set me up with my own domain, I guess…..

  12. zohrah says:

In order for me to comments on Blogger…I logged in using my gmail account…..eh…so far no problem for me.

  13. Isabelle says:

I’m in the same boat, Jenna. Very frustrating. I’ve looked around and even built a wordpress word on my own space, well but I’ve grown attached to my Blogger blogs… and I don’t want to lose readers… and apparently there have been problems on the server I use (free.fr)… ๐Ÿ™

  14. Stitch says:

Hi Jenna! I’m sorry you are having such problems. I am too. I’m one of those you speak of the blogger beta gals. While uploading pictures is fine…keeping them up is another thing. It appears that Photobucket and Blogger aren’t getting along very well. I do have to say though that eventually I will be setting up my own domain name….

Hope all is well! Miss you!! *HUGS*

I’m having the same problems… I sometimes can leave a comment on Beta blogger but most of the time, I can’t ๐Ÿ™

  16. Carol says:

I feel your pain too. The good news is that they do usually fix their issues. I have looked around and have found no other blog site that I would want to use…. but I am also refusing to go to beta blogger, for as long as I can get away with that…
