Lovely Sunday

A little chilly, but a beautiful day, nonetheless, with blue skies and gorgeous, fluffy, white clouds. We went to visit Cathy this afternoon so that we could attend her chorale concert. Her group was excellent and I really enjoyed their repertoire. They are going to be great when they travel to Williamsburg in two weeks.

Joshua was sweet enough to sit in my lap for most of the concert and both kids were well-behaved. Evie wants to be a singer, just like her mom. She opened her program and held it up in front of her, moving her mouth along with the chorale as they sang. Too cute! Joshua has a fantastic ear and sang along at a couple of points. He also liked to direct along with the chorale director. A musical duo of wonderful children from musical parents. 🙂 Cathy is always kind enough to indulge me and let me get my “kid fix” when we visit. I love playing and hanging around with (other people’s) children. And Joshua and Evie are just wonderful!

On the stitching front, I finished stitching and finished-finished two more PIF gifts this weekend, so I’m closer to wrapping up round 2 and completing my PIF commitments. It has been fun coming up with projects for my recipients and I’m kind of sorry to be close to the end. I also kitted up a Christmas ornament for my new commuter project and then started and finished a random, tiny kit on the way to Cathy’s house:
