Another Stitching Finish

It feels like all I’ve been stitching lately are models. Oh yeah, that’s right… that’s most of what I’ve been doing, that’s why! I just finished a shop model last night, which will go into the mail today for return. Of course, I scanned it, front and back.

I don’t know that I’m getting to be any faster at my stitching, but I have to admit that I’m pretty proud of the quality of my work. Besides, it’s not like I’m getting paid a ton, so as long as the shop doesn’t care that I’m not blazing fast, then I’m happy with whatever I can manage. 🙂

Now maybe I can start my stitching tonight for this weekend’s “Not Attending Savannah” stitching marathon. A bunch of gals on one of the boards I’m a member of are going to a stitching retreat in Savannah, Georgia and will have a wonderful time with 3 different designers teaching exclusive pieces. I’m so jealous… Anyway, any time there’s a retreat like this where a lot of people from the board are attending, those of us who are not attending try to stitch some appropriate projects. This time, it’s a project from each designer who’s teaching at the retreat – Cindy Valentine of Cindy Valentine Designs, Thea Dueck of The Victoria Sampler and Catherine Strickler of Indigo Rose.

The retreat starts tomorrow… hmm, does that mean I should take a vacation day and stitch? 😉
