Ouch!

Um… yeah, it’s official. Thursday night’s driving range outing has now caught up with both of us. Actually, it started last night, with numerous muscles in my back and shoulders starting to stiffen up. Today’s shower helped the situation a bit, but then the 4 ibuprofen I took might have something to do with that, as well.

Terry and I enjoyed a little date night at home last night. We worked on a puzzle that we had rolled up and filed away years ago. Of course, by this afternoon, we figured out why we must have done that in the first place, broke it into pieces and put it back in the box. We’re now working on a 500 piece Thomas Kinkade puzzle that’s been much more pleasant.

I’ve also been stitching today. I’m working on two instances of the Tiny Friendship Bag from Victoria Sampler. It’s in their freebie section, but you have to sign up to get to it (registration is free). The first one is completely stitched and just needs to be finished up into the tiny bag. The second one is more than half stitched, but has been foresaken for the new puzzle. I also received my July Exchange Gift today. It’s really beautiful, with tiny stitching done in purples on purple fabric. A scissors fob and rest; I’m excited to put it to use. 🙂

Well, speaking of the puzzle, I’m pleasantly full from dinner and Terry’s back at the puzzle, so it’s time for me to join in for a while and then I’ll do some more stitching. I may or may not blog at all tomorrow, as I’ll be baking up a mega-batch of chocolate chip cookies. I cleaned off the entire island in preparation for tomorrow’s baking and I don’t know if it’s ever been empty like than since we moved in! It looks nice, though. I’ll have to work on cleaning and organizing the kitchen. We’re going to reorganize the pantry, too, moving the canned good downstairs to the shelving unit beside the freezer. This should help me free up space on the countertops and help me to keep the whole kitchen cleaner. WOOHOO!
