I finally finished stitching all of the pieces of the Hearts and Flowers Hardanger Collection this weekend! Yippee! Now I just need to rummage through my fabrics and see if I can find something that goes well for finishing. THAT will be quite a task (the finishing part, that is)! Photos follow; please click for bigger, better pictures.

I also downloaded part 3 of the Alchemy Stitchcraft Mystery Sampler SAL and stitched it tonight:
This photo shows parts I, II and II and is a little more true to the actual colors than the previous WIP pic. The fabric I’m using is Glass Blue Monaco (which is a 28 count evenweave). The fibers I’m using are Caron Waterlilies in Moonflower, with two DMC flosses is coordinating colors, pearl cotton #8 and #12 in white and Kreinik #4 braid in #032 (pearl).
For anyone who is interested in joining (and sorry I was remiss in mentioning this earlier), the SAL can be found on the Alchemy Stitchcraft Yahoo! group. I hope that some of you will consider joining in on the fun!
Also, thank you for all of your kind comments about my neurologist visit. I am very excited and although the previous four days were a headache nightmare for me, I’m optimistic that the new medication combined with a visit to the pscyhologist on Thursday will help me get these buggers under control. I’ve done well today, so here’s hoping for more days like this one!
It’s so great to see you stitching something for yourself, Jenna!! The stitching is perfect, I know your finishing will be the same. :))
Jenna, you’ve done some beautiful stitching this weekend! And it’s lovely that those are all for YOU.
Thank you so much for the yahoo group addy – I just sent a membership application
I am so happy that you are confident on finally mastering those migraines! I am too, for you
Hugs my friend!
I hope this day will be headache-free for you
All of them look great!
Wonderful stitching !!! Really gorgeous!
Heart and Flowers is really pretty Jenna – congratulations!
Beautiful Jenna!
Congrats on your finish! They look great! Love the Mystery project as well, the fabric is very pretty.
Beautiful projects Jenna! Hearts and Flowers is stunning. Love the color scheme you selected. the Alchemy Mystery SAL is awesome, too. The color is very interesting. I haven’t started my SALs — too much life getting in the way. Now that Mom is moved in & all, I think I can go back to my usual routine by the end of this week : )
As for the BD celebration… we had two. We had the In-laws visit on the 29th, viewed final performance of CATS & went to Pizzaria Uno. Last night, the boys, DH, & I went to El Salto, Mexican Restaurant in Valpo. I had to buy a cake b/c I was out of eggs AND out of energy from cleaning Mom’s previous place. Bah. Tori found an animated dancing hamster singing the birthday song — and the hamster has a walker. (They say it’s your birthday, It’s my birthday, too….etc)
Yay for you – Hearts & Flowers turned out beautifully … love your filling stitches
Your mystery SAL is going great guns too – very pretty
Fingers crossed your headaches stay under control and you have more good days than bad :)) {hugs}
