\nHow many different brands of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153complete\u00e2\u20ac\u009d embroidery floss sets do you own? How do you keep track of it? (i.e., spread sheet program, index cards, palm pilot, etc.)\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I only own one complete set of floss and that is DMC. Nothing else is as consistently used as DMC is designs, so it’s the only one that makes sense to invest in a full set. Plus, as someone who likes to play with small designs every once in a while, it helps to have all of the DMCs on hand to be able to stitch up practically anything at any time. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

As far as how I keep track of it, I don’t currently, and that’s a big problem. I’ve been just hoping that I’ll be able to figure out where the missing skeins are every time I pull for a project. And so far, I have been able to either find them or make an appropriate substitution if I’m in a hurry or feeling lazy. But I really want and need to get my act together on my projects. I’ve been meaning for some time to write my own software application to help me track my stash and WIPs and as of this week, I have actually started to refresh my coding skills for this particular application and I hope to have something developed by the end of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
