I hope you have a bright, sunshine-y, happy day, Dad!<\/p>\n<p>And yes, for those of you who have done the math, he would have been 20 when I was born, but he&#8217;s technically my stepdad.  A strong emphasis on the word &#8220;technically&#8221; because, in my heart and his, he&#8217;s my dad and I&#8217;m his daughter.  We just didn&#8217;t happen to meet until I was 13.  \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s been a wonderful role model and an extremely positive influence on my life, turning me around and buoying my spirits when I&#8217;ve needed it the most.  And he will continue to be so and do so for many, many years to come, I&#8217;m sure.<\/p>\n<p>I love you, Dad!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy 50th Birthday to you!
